From August to September 2022, a total of 30 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) who underwent transurethral blue laser lateral vaporization resection surgery at the Urology Nephropathy Laser Treatment Center of Yingsheng Hospital, Tai'an Central Hospital (Hao Xiaohang, Li, Teng, Tufanzhuo, Hu Zunjie, Hu, Yan, Zhao Yongwei). Compare the changes in preoperative and postoperative residual urine volume, urine flow rate, International Prostate Symptom Scale (IPSS), and Quality of Life Scale (QoL) scores, and record the surgical time and postoperative urine routine red blood cell count.

Conclusion: 450 nm blue laser lateral infusion prostate vaporization resection technology is a practical and feasible surgical technique for the treatment of BPH, which has the characteristics of high efficiency, speed, and safety. It can greatly shorten the hospital stay of patients, improve the perioperative safety of patients, and have strong operability in the implementation process. With shorter surgical time, smaller trauma, and higher efficiency, the development of BPH surgical treatment towards daytime surgery has become possible.
